We have just received an Official Statement from J's Racing regarding the recent incident and felt that it was necessary to share it with all of our loyal customers and dealers, many of whom are just as concerned about this matter as we are. We would like to take a moment to offer our sincerest condolences to the injured party. We wish him and his family well during this difficult time and pray that he makes a quick recovery.

As a North American distributor for J's Racing we continue to stand firmly by Mr. Hisaaki Murakami and the Board of Directors at J's Corporation. We believe in their utmost integrity and sound business ethic, principles which are reflected in each and every one of their high quality products. J's Corporation

To all the parties concerned:

This statement is prepared in response to the news "Junichi Umemoto Arrested" reported on the media.

We sincerely regret and apologize for all the trouble we caused to our customers and business acquaintance. At the same time, we earnestly hope a speedy recovery of the injured party.

As of now, we have not obtained the complete information and we are unable to report all the detail of the incident. However, it is a fact that Mr. Umemoto has been arrested and has been questioned by the police.

Upon this development, the board of directors removed Mr. Umemoto from the C.E.O and have elected Mr. Hisaaki Murakami as the replacement. The boards also have elected Mr. Masafumi Yagi as the general manager to succeed Mr. Murakami.

Starting today, with this new management, we resume the regular operation and make utmost effort to avoid the similar trouble to our customers, clients, and the business associates.

We are determined and committed to do whatever necessary to restore the trust from you.

We greatly appreciate and look forward to your continued support and patronage.

N1 RACING WINS BACK TO BACK ON THE WEST COAST - TAKING 1ST PLACE SUPER MODIFIED RWD AND FINISHING 3RD OVERALL AT REDLINE TIME ATTACK ROUND 3 HELD AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

SUPER MODIFIED REAR WHEEL DRIVE CLASS 1ST PLACE WITH 1:42:733

N1 Concepts is proud to announce it's racing team's 1st Place finish at Round 3 of the Redline Time Attack Series held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Outside Road Course. This was the second race in the West Coast series, which meant a consecutive win for N1 (the team also finished 1st Place at Round 1 in Buttonwillow just a month before). This result means that N1 Racing remains in the 1st Place Position as Points Leader in the Super Modified (Unlimited) RWD Class.

It was a difficult battle all weekend long as N1 Racing faced off against tough competition in the form of the 2009 Series Champion, FX Motorsports Development, and it's NSX. However, driver Andrie Hartanto was up to the task as he displayed incredible skill in piloting the S2000 around the technical Outside Road Course.

Friday's intense practice sessions of running in the high to mid 1:44 range led to a broken differential. However, with an amazing show of teamwork, the N1 pit crew were able to receive help from the great guys at GST Motorsports who brought down two spare differentials early Saturday morning from N1's shop (the two are located minutes apart in Hayward, CA). Once the S2000 was up and running again, N1 was quickly able to make further adjustments, dropping the lap times down to the low 1:43 range.

On Sunday morning, Hartanto was able to begin dipping the S2000's lap times into the high 1:42:9 zone. During the first Time Attack Session N1 recorded a blazing 1:42:7 lap time which would become the 1st Place Super Modified RWD time (FX was unable to record a better time in the second Time Attack Session of the day). This time was also fast enough to place N1 Racing as 3rd Place overall in a field full of turbocharged cars with more than three to four times the horsepower!

The N1 Racing Team plans to further improve the S2000 in preparation for Round 4 at Auto Club Speedway next month (May 29-30). Stay tuned for details!

N1 Concepts was started by Norman Tong, an enthusiast who has been in the racing and motor sport culture since 1995. His first car was a 1995 Acura Integra GSR. The car was a great daily driver and a good platform for a fast street car. Norman not only wanted a fast street car, but something that would break track records. With more extensive research in building a lighter and faster car, Norman acquired a 1992 Civic Si hatchback along with a 1996 B18C1 GSR motor. With the help of magazine articles and literature before the internet was readily available, Norman had built an all motor set up in his own garage and ran consistent 13 second runs at the season opener CMI race in Sacramento, April 1997.

Shortly after, Norman joined Dimensional 1 Racing, a race team consisting of 8 highly respectable fast cars. With the help of D1 and Dave Shih (Silver Bullet 10 second CRX in 1996), the Civic received a custom T04E/T3 turbocharger by mid summer of that year. With a stock GSR setup and 12psi, the car ran a 12.5 second quarter mile @ 110mph at the following CMI race that season. Already well respected as a fast front wheel drive car at the time, Norman’s next challenge was to get the car into the 11 second bracket in the same season. A new chassis with cut doors, lexan windows, and stripped interior received the race motor. Within 2 weeks of running 13 second, 12 second passes, Norman achieved his goal by getting the car into the 11 second club with a 11.58 @ 117 mph run in the same season with the help of his teammates and friends.

In the next few years, Norman also participated in the growing scene of import car shows including the legendary Showoff EXC show that pioneered the import car culture and shows. While juggling to finish his degree and building a faster car, Norman was already focusing his efforts in building a business in the industry. In 2003 Norman started N1 Concepts straight out of college. N1 Concepts at the time focused on building cars from theft recovery salvaged Hondas. At the same time, his Civic ran faster times getting into the 10 second range. In 2006, N1 Concepts began importing Japanese parts. N1 Concepts became your source for used Japanese Honda OEM parts and accessories. A new project such as the Honda Fit received a K20 (current 2.0 liter motor found in the RSX and Civic) engine that broke records at the track and was featured on the cover of Super Street magazine in October 2006.

In late 2007, N1 Concepts became the North American distributor for J’s Racing Japan. N1 Concepts in collaboration with J’s Racing imported the J’s Racing S2000 to race and compete on the U.S. shores in time attacks and road course events.

With the extensive background in street, drag, and track racing, N1 Concepts will continue to grow and provide USDM and JDM parts and the best service for the motor sport industry and culture.

wek'fest was off the hook! Over 8,000 people showed up to the underground event. If you weren't there, here's a chance to see what we had going on.

Preparation for the show was insane... we all showed up at 6am, packed into the underground garage, cars honking, music blasting, exhaust roaring, oxygen levels decreasing, and thank god for the Rockstar vendors.

All in all, the atmosphere was awesome and the girls were hot.
